Who We Are
L.L. Stub Stewart Management Unit supports operations for
these properties in the forests, 30 miles northwest of Portland: L.L. Stub Stewart State Park and the Banks-Vernonia State Trail.
What We Do
Volunteers with L.L. Stub Stewart Management
Unit provide support in a variety of roles, including: campground host, cabin host, day-use host, maintenance host and relief hosts. These properties provide camping, cabin, hiking, bike riding, horse camp, disc golf, and picnicking opportunities.
