Who We Are
Blue mountain Management Unit supports operations for these properties in the greater LaGrande area of Northeast Oregon: Battle Mountain Forest State Scenic Corridor, Catherine Creek State Park, Emigrant Springs State Heritage Area, Hat Rock State Park, Hilgard Junction State Rec Area, Red Bridge State Wayside, and Ukiah/Dale Forest State Scenic Corridor.
What We Do
Volunteers with Blue Mountain Management Unit provide support in a variety of roles, including: campground host, maintenance host, day-use host, and horse camp host. These properties provide hiking, horse trails, cabins, camping, fishing, biking, picnicking recreational opportunities, as well as history and heritage experiences.
