Washburne Management Unit supports operations for these properties in the Florence area: Carl G Washburne - Muriel O Ponsler Memorial State Scenic Viewpoint, Heceta Head Lighthouse Scenic Viewpoint, Neptune State Scenic Viewpoint, Stonefield Beach State Recreation Site, Strawberry Hill Wayside, & Tokatee Klootchman State Natural Site.
What We Do
Volunteers with Carl G. Washburne Management Unit provide support in a variety of roles, including: Campground host and Lighthouse Interpretive hosts. These properties provide hiking, camping, picnicking, beach access, and lighthouse historical information.
