South Beach Management Unit supports operations for these properties near Newport and stretches several miles down the Oregon coastline: South Beach State Park, Yachats State Recreation Area, Beachside State Recreation Site, South Jetty – South Beach, Seal Rock State Recreation Site, Lost Creek State Recreation Site, & Driftwood Beach State Recreation Site
What We Do
Volunteers with South Beach Management Unit provide support in a variety of roles, including: Campground Host, Yurt Hosts, Special Projects Host, Shop Host, and Maintenance Relief Hosts. These properties provide beach access, disc golf, hiking trails, campground, yurts, fishing, and other recreational opportunities.
