Nestled in the heart of sunny central Oregon, Tumalo rests along Oregon's spectacular Deschutes River four miles north of Bend. Its location makes it an ideal base camp for any outdoor activity you could dream of clear blue-ribbon trout streams, pristine alpine lakes, and miles of scenic hiking and mountain bike trails.
The Shop Maintenance Host provides service for Tumalo State Park by assisting Rangers in organization of the shop, mowing, maintenance of equipment and the park. Review the volunteer assignment description for this position here.
Time Commitment: Volunteers should anticipate 20-30 hours per week, 4-5 hours per person per day, hours to be completed between the hours of 7:00 am-5:00 pm.
