This position is the Campground Relief Host. Duties include cleaning yurts, tidying sites and litter picking, stocking firewood, helping with snow removal, and covering the greeting hosts on their days off. Tumalo is a busy park, and a large part of the job can include answering visitor's questions about registration, the park, and Central Oregon. Tumalo has two loops open during the winter months and 7 basic yurts (no bathrooms or kitchens). You'll be working with 1 other set of hosts and up to 3 rangers in the campground.
Time Commitment: Volunteers should anticipate 20-25 hours per week, 4-5 hours per person per day, hours to be completed between the hours of 7:00 am-5:00 pm.
