You'll find Manhattan Beach State Recreation Site just off of Highway 101 north of Rockaway. Picnic tables are nestled into small cul-de-sacs surrounded by shore pine to provide a break from the wind. After a leisurely lunch, kick off your shoes and take the short walk down the access trail to the ocean beach. A thoroughly relaxing spot.
The Maintenance and Landscaping host provides service for Manhattan Beach SRS by supporting minor building maintenance, general landscaping, and general trail maintenance. Review the volunteer assignment description for this position here.
Time Commitment: Volunteers should anticipate a schedule that includes 20-30 hours of volunteer service each week, 5 days per week, per host.
