Campground Host at Lake Owyhee State Park - SCHEDULED from July 1, 2026 to August 30, 2026  

Campground Host positions are currently available for 2026! We are seeking to fill hosting positions from April to November for our Indian Creek and McCormack campgrounds. Lake Owyhee State Park is a high desert retreat on the shores of Lake Owyhee Reservoir with scenic views of the Owyhee canyonlands. Nestled amongst imposing peaks and wilderness areas the park is home to an abundance of wildlife including mule deer, coyote, bighorn sheep, wild horses, and a diverse population of migratory and resident bird species. One host site is full hook-up with water, sewer and 20/30/50-amp power. The other has water, 20/30/50-amp power but no sewer hookups. Totes will be provided. Host work includes camp duties (campsite cleanup, firewood sales, fuel sales, customer service), landscaping (vegetation trimming, irrigation assist, mowing), litter clean-up and restroom checks.
