Description

General Responsibilities: • Respond to visitor, staff, and volunteer requests in an attentive and respectful manner. • Perform general cleaning and servicing of yurts/cabins; including restocking bathrooms, emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down counters, mattresses, tables and sinks. • Alert staff to safety issues, facility issues, and major cleaning needs. • Provide general site maintenance, including cleaning out fire pits, cleaning gas grill, light landscaping, and sweeping. • Provide general restroom maintenance, including restocking supplies, and daily cleaning. • Operate and maintain small powered equipment. • Clean-up and debris removal. • Alert staff to safety issues, facility issues, and major cleaning needs. • Provide general site maintenance, including cleaning out fire pits, light landscaping, and sweeping. • Operate utility vehicles (golf carts, gators, etc.). • Swapping out empty propane tanks for full tanks on the cabin’s bbqs. • Perform substantial seasonal deep cleaning of facilities. • Provide general campground maintenance, including cleaning out fire pits, light landscaping, and sweeping. • General landscaping duties including: pruning, raking, weeding, mowing, and trimming. Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. • Ability walk long distances, stand for long periods of time, perform repeated motions such as shoveling or raking. • Ability to bend, crouch, twist, push and pull. • Ability to travel on uneven terrain, as well as be stationary for long periods of time. • Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions.
