The Shop Maintenance Host provides service for Silver Falls State Park by supporting landscaping, general repair, special maintenance projects, and maintenance shop upkeep.
Maintenance – Assisting park rangers with maintenance projects depending on the park needs and experience. The duties will involve, carpentry work, painting, shop organization and other maintenance and in-shop projects depending on comfort and skill set and training. This position works closely with staff rangers however quite often performs work independently.Possibility of other assigned tasks by park staff depending on interests and abilities.
Time Commitment: Volunteers should anticipate a schedule that includes 5 days a week volunteering 5+/- hours each day, per volunteer to be completed between the hours of 7am and 6pm.
