Campground Host at Silver Falls State Park, A & B loops SCHEDULED for October 1, 2026 - November, 2026  

Campground Host: Increase the number of quality visitor experiences in the park by informing park visitors about park rules & regulations, providing visitors with park information, connecting visitors to park resources, participating in being an ambassador for the Junior Ranger Program & reporting to OPRD staff any safety hazards or rule violations that occur. Assist staff with campground upkeep of the park’s A & B loop campsites, keepings the camp sites clean (blowing parking pads and roadways, cleaning fire pits, picking up limbs), litter picking and checking / stocking brochures and a self-serve firewood shed. Assist with maintaining landscaping needs throughout the campground, including minor trimming, weeding, mowing & weed eating. Stocking firewood in the lodge (seasonal). Possibility of other assigned tasks by park staff depending on interests and abilities.
