Nestled in the heart of sunny central Oregon, Tumalo rests along Oregon's spectacular Deschutes River four miles north of Bend. Its location makes it an ideal base camp for any outdoor activity you could dream of: lush green golf courses, clear blue-ribbon trout steams, pristine alpine lakes, and miles of scenic hiking and mountain bike trails.

The Campground Yurt Host provides service for Tumalo State Park campground by providing outstanding public contact, shows a caring presence, answers questions, helps to deter vandalism and continually improves park aesthetics. This volunteer maintains clean yurts and camp sites for park visitors. Review the volunteer assignment description for this position here.

Time Commitment: Volunteers should anticipate 4-5 hours per person per day, with work to be completed between the hours of 9:00am - 2:00 pm, 5 days/week, Wednesday-Thursdays off.
