Nestled in the heart of sunny central Oregon, Tumalo rests along Oregon's spectacular Deschutes River four miles north of Bend. Its location makes it an ideal base camp for any outdoor activity you could dream of: lush green golf courses, clear blue-ribbon trout steams, pristine alpine lakes, and miles of scenic hiking and mountain bike trails.

The Campground and Day Use Hosts provide service for Tumalo State Park by providing outstanding public contact, shows a caring presence, answer questions, help to deter vandalism and continually improves park aesthetics. This volunteer performs minor maintenance in Day Use & assists with self-guided interpretation programs. Review the volunteer assignment description for this position here.

Time Commitment: Volunteers should anticipate 4-5 hours per person per day, 5 days/week. Saturday & Sunday off.
