Located at the state's westernmost tip, and perched over the Pacific Ocean, Cape Blanco State Park features a 19th-century lighthouse and an early Irish settler's home. Enjoy the park's history, trails and rugged coastline while serving as a volunteer.
The Campground Host assists campground operations and improves visitor experience by providing light landscaping, and selling firewood. Review the Volunteer Assignment Description for this position here.
Time Commitment: Volunteers should anticipate a schedule that includes 20 – 30 hours of volunteer service each week, per host. Days off will be Mondays & Tuesdays. A schedule of expected duties will be provided to help with planning for that week, but anticipate 4-5 hours of service that will occur each day between 9:00 am - 8:00 pm.
