Red Bridge State Wayside lies along Oregon Highway 244 and offers visitors overnight camping and daytime opportunities. Situated along the banks of the Grande Ronde River, the park is forested with ponderosa pine and cottonwoods. Uncrowded, quiet summer evenings greet campers and day-users alike. Enjoy a day of fishing or cool off in the gentle waters of the river.
The camp host at Red Bridge State Wayside supports park operations by providing customer service to visitors, maintaining cabins, and assisting with general campground maintenance. Review the volunteer assignment description for this position here.
Time Commitment: Volunteers should anticipate a schedule that includes about 20 hours of volunteer service each week, per host. Service is performed between the hours of 11:00 am and 4:00 pm Friday - Tuesday.
