Ukiah-Dale Forest State Scenic Corridor follows Highway 395 along the North Fork of the John Day River and Camas Creek. Winding through a forest of stately ponderosa pine, Douglas fir and western larch, the corridor provides a pleasant scenic drive and access to a primitive campground and popular fishing spot.
The camp host at Ukiah-Dale Forest State Scenic Corridor supports park operations by providing customer service to visitors, maintaining cabins, and assisting with general campground maintenance. Review the volunteer assignment description for this position here.
Time Commitment: Volunteers should anticipate a schedule that includes about 20 hours of volunteer service each week, per host. Service is performed between the hours of 11:00 am and 4:00 pm Friday - Tuesday.
