Bob Straub State Park is located in Pacific City and provides beach access, parking and restrooms. It's a nice place to go for a walk on the beach and explore the Nestucca sand spit. The Nestucca River is legendary for 50 pound Chinook salmon.


The Day Use host provides service for Bob Straub State Park by supporting landscaping, general repair, mowing, and general site maintenance. Review the volunteer assignment description for this position here.


Time Commitment: Volunteers should anticipate a schedule that includes 20 – 30 hours of volunteer service each week, per host.
