Located north of Florence in the Siuslaw National Forest, Washburne's creekside campground is just north of Heceta Head and about 10 miles south of Cape Perpetua. The campground is located on the east side of Highway 101, with a buffer of native plants and trees between its spacious, shady sites and the highway.
The Campground Host provides service for a park by assisting park guests, daily checks of park facilities, sell firewood, campsite/yurt cleaning. Review the Volunteer Assignment Description for this position here.
Time Commitment: Volunteers should anticipate a schedule that includes 25 hours of volunteer service each week, per host. This assignment is expected to work 5 days a week with 2 consecutive days off.
