Description

Responding to this opportunity alerts staff of your interest. It does not automatically sign you up for this assignment. Park Staff will reach out to interview you and determine if you will be selected to volunteer for this specific assignment.

Tseriadun (pronounced serry-AH-dun) is popular with visitors stretching their legs on the miles-long beach, agate collectors (there's a reason the community calls it Agate Beach) and photographers intent on capturing the perfect shots of offshore rocks and headlands. Tseriadun is one of three state parks in Port Orford. The other parks are Port Orford Heads and Paradise State Point State Recreation Site.

The Interpretive Host provides service for Port Orford Heads Day Use Area by greeting visitors and provide a guided tour to broaden the public understanding of this historic Lifeboat Station. Review the volunteer assignment description for this position here.

Time Commitment: Volunteers should anticipate a schedule that includes one month minimum working up to 6 hours per day, not to exceed 24 hours per week, per host.

Location: Port Orford Heads Day Use Area. Learn more about the park and the available amenities on the Host Site Directory page for this property online here.

This opportunity is available for one individual or a team of hosts staying together at the same site.
