• Communicate well with park staff and visitors. Be a courteous and constructive member of our team. • Be a positive, professional presence in the park. Help campers find their sites, check-in, and purchase amenities like walk-in reservations, ice, and firewood. Answer questions about the park and what it has to offer. • Clean cabins after outgoing reservations leave: Wipe down mattresses and touch surfaces, Tag and notify Park staff of lost and found items, Clear fire pits of trash, Sweep, Mop floors, Inform park staff of maintenance needs- Fill out appropriate fix-it tickets • Clean the Cabins Meeting Hall after reservations leave: Wipe down sinks, bathrooms, and touch surfaces, Sweep, Mop, Empty garbage cans, Dust, Wipe down windows, Turn lost and found items in to park staff • Check cabin loop restrooms for messes and inform park staff if extra cleaning is necessary (Park Rangers will clean the restrooms daily). Re-stock paper products in afternoon. • Be the eyes and ears of the park: inform Park Ranger on duty when changes occur in the cabin loop (walk-in reservation sales, early check-outs etc.). Inform OPRD staff if any problems or rules violations occur. • Maintain lawns and landscaping. • Utilize hand tools in accordance with OPRD safety trainings and directives such as: Loppers, Litter pickers, Shovels, Rakes • Operate motorized equipment in accordance with OPRD safety trainings and directives such as: Small utility vehicles, Push and Belly Deck Mowers, Weedwhackers, Leaf Blowers • Assist with maintaining lawns and landscaping in the Hilltop Day-Use Area as well as: Empty trash cans, Clean and inspect the picnic shelter after outgoing reservations leave, Check on toilet paper levels in the day use restroom, Litter pick and check general condition of parking lot and picnic area on Hill, Check off-leash dog run area – restock dog bags and pick up waste from receptacle • Other tasks as assigned by Park Rangers • This position requires frequently standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching. It frequently requires lifting, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 20 lbs. and may occasionally require moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
