A popular campground and day-use area, Cape Lookout is located on a sand
spit between Netarts Bay and the ocean. This scenic park is a
destination for hiking, beachcombing and visiting sites along the Three
Cape Scenic Route.
The campground visitor services host provides a clean and safe environment and customer service for campers focusing on evening wood and ice sales and be available as backup to campground operations. Review the volunteer assignment description for this position here.
Time Commitment: Volunteers should anticipate a schedule that includes 20 – 30 hours of volunteer service each week, per host. This includes 4-6 hours per day, wood sales are from 4:00pm - 8:00 pm (yurt cleaning starting at 2 pm if assigned – wood cart loading at 3:30 pm)
